Worship is the center of life at First Lutheran Church. Our goal is to provide a variety of worship styles and music to meet the needs of the diverse community of people we serve and seek to attract. Our Lutheran church holds worship services every Saturday and Sunday. We also have youth Sunday School available for children three years old through 6th grade.
For more than 160 years, our faith has carried us, guiding a great number of faithful people and strong leaders to our church. We are a proud member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), our parent church. Choose to continue to make history with us, and let’s turn our ministry into a legacy of faith!

First Lutheran Church is hosting a service of readings, music, and prayer in honor of the officers of all law enforcement agencies in Rock County. Chief Kent Williams of Breach Point Consulting in Illinois will speak. Breach Point Consulting trains officers on how to deal with the stressors of law enforcement. The public is invited and encouraged to attend so that we may honor those who protect and serve us. Chief Williams will speak about how his faith shapes his service. His theme comes from Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
